What this role involves

Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 500,000 patients worldwide.

You will build systems to parse requirements, map software modules, and auto-generate test cases - boosting engineering velocity without sacrificing the compliance rigor required for FDA-cleared software.
  • Implement advanced guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and reasoning validation loops to ensure agent behaviors are safe, deterministic, and highly accurate within a medical context.
  • Enable agents to interact dynamically with complex medical data structures, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), imaging pipelines, and internal APIs.
  • Work closely with product managers, clinical experts, and data scientists to translate clinical needs into technical AI agent architectures.
  • Mentor junior/mid-level engineers, champion software engineering best practices (CI/CD, comprehensive testing, logging for non-deterministic systems), and stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff) of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping production-grade software.
  • Deep, hands-on experience building applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) and a strong understanding of agentic architectures.

Engineer Senior Back End Engineer (Ruby on Rails & GO) at Verasity

Senior backend engineer designs and builds microservices in Ruby on Rails and Go, manages platform migration, and mentors engineering team members.

Senior Posted about 17 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

Overview

At PrizePicks, we are changing the game in daily fantasy sports. We are a passionate team of innovators dedicated to creating a best-in-class experience for our members. Our engineering team builds and scales the platform that powers our explosive growth from real-time contest engines to the services that handle millions of daily transactions. We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our Back Office team and help us build the internal platform that powers every operation at PrizePicks.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer fluent in both Ruby on Rails and Go to join our Back Office team. Back Office is the internal operational platform used by Game Ops, Trading, Member Operations, and Risk teams to configure projections, trade lines, manage members, review risk, and monitor live scoring — all of which directly shapes what millions of members see in the app.

In this role, you will design and build backend services that span our Rails monolith and our growing ecosystem of Rails and Go microservices. You will work across existing as well as new services being carved out as we migrate toward a microservices architecture. You will tackle high-scope, complex technical problems, own features end-to-end, and mentor engineers on your team. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable extending a mature Rails codebase and greenfielding a new Go service, and who is energized by the challenge of a platform in active, deliberate evolution.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own backend services: Design and implement features across both Rails-based services and Go microservices — from API contracts through deployment and monitoring.
  • Support the migration to microservices: Help decompose the Rails monolith into well-scoped, independently deployable services, contributing to architectural decisions about what to extract and how.
  • Power internal tooling APIs: Build and maintain the backend APIs that Back Office operators depend on for real-time decisioning — projection management, risk dashboards, alerting, and member operations.
  • Own technical delivery: Lead the design and implementation of complex features end-to-end, from product requirements through production deployment.
  • Drive system reliability: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and improve resilience of backend systems under load.
  • Define technical direction: Propose and drive architectural decisions for your team’s services, evaluating tradeoffs and communicating recommendations clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and elevate: Provide hands-on mentorship to Software Engineers I, II, and III through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Improve engineering practices: Advocate for and improve best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and deployment for the team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, QA, and other engineering teams to translate operational goals into well-scoped technical solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation: Share responsibility for production incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and long-term reliability improvements.

What You Have

Experience:

  • 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful production time in both Ruby on Rails and Go
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, multi-component features in a team environment
  • Experience working across monolith-to-microservices migrations, extracting services, managing dual-write patterns, and maintaining backward compatibility
  • Experience designing and operating distributed systems or event-driven architectures

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Rails proficiency — you understand the framework deeply, write idiomatic Ruby, and know when to leverage or work around Rails conventions
  • Strong Go proficiency — you write idiomatic, well-tested, production-quality Go code
  • Solid PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of API design (REST and/or gRPC) and service boundary design
  • Experience with asynchronous workflows — background job processing (Sidekiq or similar), message queues, or event streaming
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Understanding of observability practices — logging, metrics, tracing

Working Style:

  • Comfortable working autonomously with minimal direction on ambiguous problems
  • Effective communicator who can articulate technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to context-switch between deep technical work and collaborative planning
  • Experience working in a fully remote engineering organization

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Pulsar, Kafka, or similar — our platform relies heavily on async messaging between services
  • Experience with NATS request/reply or JetStream patterns
  • Familiarity with internal tooling or operator-facing platforms (not just member-facing products)
  • Experience in high-traffic, real-time systems — sports, gaming, fintech, or adtech
  • Familiarity with infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD)
  • Experience in the daily fantasy sports or sports betting industry
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools across the development lifecycle — coding, planning, scoping, and code review
  • Experience integrating AI tooling into engineering workflows to accelerate team productivity

Where You’ll Live

While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a “normalized” problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Available Location: Austin, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Mexico City, Mexico

Role Summary

Cloudflare operates one of the world’s largest and most interconnected networks, spanning 335+ cities across every region of the globe. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our Edge Network & Backbone team — someone who brings deep operational experience, an AI-first mindset, and the instinct to mentor and lift the engineers around them. In your first year, this role is deliberately hands-on: you’ll be in the operational trenches, owning complex faults, driving capacity work, and setting the standard for how we run the network. Beyond that, you’ll help shape how the team works — building AI-enabled tooling and agents that reduce toil, accelerate troubleshooting, and make the whole team more effective. This is a North American based role, but you’ll be joining one global team: the sun never sets on Cloudflare, and our engineers hand off work across every time zone to keep the network running around the clock.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own the technical operation, engineering, and architecture of Cloudflare’s global network, including planning, installation, and day-to-day management of hardware and software across the edge and backbone.
  • Serve as a hands-on operational anchor for the team — diagnosing and resolving complex network faults, owning incident response end-to-end including on-call rotation, and contributing to post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build production AI agents for network operations. Design, ship, and own LLM-powered tools that integrate with our operational systems of record via tool calling. Ship them with evals, observability of agent decisions, cost tracking, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints where autonomous action carries blast radius.
  • Apply AI to accelerate troubleshooting. Use and extend our internal AI platform (Workers AI, AI Gateway) to speed up root cause analysis, pattern recognition across faults, and operational decision-making under pressure.
  • Architect network improvements that lower latency, reduce packet loss, and increase scale — optimising end user experience across Cloudflare’s global infrastructure.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, setting technical standards, conducting structured troubleshooting sessions, and building a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on cross-functional network projects, contributing to design documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles that outlast any individual contributor.

Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

  • Proven track record in large-scale network engineering and operations.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and/or Go sufficient to build, debug, and maintain agent code, not just to glue scripts together.
  • Working knowledge of agent integration patterns: function/tool calling, MCP or equivalent, retrieval over operational corpora (runbooks, postmortems, change history), and prompt iteration with evals.
  • Experience reasoning about agent failure modes in production: hallucination guards, fallback paths, rollback, blast-radius control.
  • Deep expertise in BGP and anycast routing, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex routing issues in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of MPLS and Segment Routing.
  • Proficiency across multiple network vendor operating systems (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or similar).
  • Experience with network automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Ansible, or equivalent, and a strong instinct for solving operational problems through code.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and lead calmly when faced with high-pressure scenarios.
  • An effective communicator who can adapt their style to any audience — whether guiding a junior engineer through a fault or presenting a network architecture decision to senior leadership.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Shipped LLM-powered tooling into production use by a team other than your own, with measurable operational impact.
  • Professional-level network certification (JNCIP, CCNP, or equivalent or higher).
  • Experience with optical transport technologies such as CWDM and DWDM.
  • Linux system administration.
  • Experience writing network configuration and design documentation at an architectural level.

Engineer Siena - Fullstack Engineer at Silver.dev

Senior full-stack engineer who owns features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure while integrating language models into customer workflows at scale.

Senior Remote Posted about 17 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Meet Siena

Siena is the Agent of Record for consumer brands. One agent that owns the entire customer journey, running on a shared intelligence layer no point tool can replicate.

Consumer brands run ten or more disconnected tools to manage their customers. We collapse that stack into a single agent. It started with support, the hardest surface a brand has, and it expands from there: Shopping Agent, Social Agent, Siena working alongside a brand’s own operators. One agent across every surface, with shared memory, shared context, and shared tools.

Hundreds of brands already run real customer volume on Siena in production. This is built, working, and growing, and we are racing to build what comes next.

The team

We are a small, fully distributed, global team. We have built leverage into how we work, which is what lets a team this size move at the speed we do.

We hire athletes. Everyone here owns real outcomes, defaults to writing over meetings, communicates with directness, and acts the moment they see something worth acting on. Low ego, high standards, fast clock.

If you want to own real problems rather than close tickets, keep reading.

About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own meaningful parts of the platform end to end. You will take ambiguous problems, work out the right approach, and ship reliable, high-performance systems that real brands depend on every day.

You will work closely with product to shape scope and roadmap, make real architectural decisions within your area, and do your best work without being managed task by task. This role is for engineers who want ownership and can carry it.

What You’ll Do

  • Own features and systems across the full stack, frontend, backend, and infrastructure, from problem definition through production.

  • Partner with product to break down ambiguous scope and ship in iterative, high-impact releases.

  • Make real architectural and design decisions in your area, and explain the reasoning so the team can build on it.

  • Take cutting-edge language models into enterprise customer workflows, where reliability and safety actually matter.

  • Solve hard engineering problems: API performance, microservices, scaling across channels and brands.

  • Maintain and improve our AWS infrastructure with a DevOps mindset.

  • Raise the bar around you. Share what you know, review thoughtfully, and help teammates level up.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of software engineering, with real ownership of systems you have shipped and run in production.

  • Strong full-stack engineer in our core stack: Node.js, React, TypeScript, Express.

  • Solid with AWS (Fargate, Lambda, EC2, SQS) and with PostgreSQL and Redis.

  • Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar).

  • Experienced with microservices and scalable systems.

  • Product-focused. You think past the code to customer outcomes and business impact.

  • You have shipped LLM-powered features to production. This is a must, not a bonus. You know what breaks when models meet real users.

  • High-ownership and direct. You take initiative, fix problems without waiting to be told, and say openly when something is not working.

Bonus Points

  • Next.js.

  • Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform).

  • Python.

  • Event-driven architecture.

  • Background in customer support or CX software.

Why Siena?

  • Real ownership. You will own problems, not tasks, with the autonomy to solve them your way and the trust to do it without a manager in your inbox.

  • Work that ships and matters. What you build reaches real consumer brands fast.

  • A category we are creating. The Agent of Record is new ground, with unsolved problems and cutting-edge models, not a crowded field to compete in.

  • A team that respects your judgment. Globally distributed, async-first, low bureaucracy. We hire adults and treat you like one.

  • Great salary plus equity or stock grants. Own a piece of what you build.

  • Learning budget. If you are growing, so are we.

  • AI-fluency by default. Few places will push your work with production AI further or faster.

Our values

The people who thrive here are curious, customer-obsessed, and take ownership without being asked. They fix problems first and explain later. They’re direct about feedback—both giving and receiving it—because they care more about getting things right than being polite.

They maintain high standards while moving at startup speed, and they build real relationships with teammates because they know that’s how great work gets done. When things get tough, they adapt and keep pushing forward.

Our approach to AI

The people who thrive here treat AI like a natural extension of themselves. They’ve built their own ecosystem of agents - some for research, others for debugging, writing, analysis, or writing code. They know which AI works best for what problem.

Everyone gets premium accounts (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity Pro, Cursor, Lovable) plus a quarterly budget for new tools. But the magic happens in how we share knowledge. Demo days where someone shows off a clever workflows. Slack threads about which model handles a specific use case better. Learning from each other’s AI workflows.

At Siena, we’re not just looking for people who can do a job. We’re looking for people who want to break boundaries, create the future, and reshape industries. If that’s you, we look forward to your application.

What this role involves

Our Purpose

At SentinelOne, we are driven by a clear purpose: to give the advantage to those who secure our future. As AI reshapes how organizations build, operate, and innovate, the responsibility to protect them becomes more critical than ever. When you join SentinelOne, your work helps protect global enterprises, critical infrastructure, and the technologies shaping tomorrow. If you are motivated by meaningful challenges and want your impact to be real, measurable, and global, you will find purpose here.

About Us

SentinelOne is a company at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering a new operating model for cybersecurity. Our AI-native platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems to deliver autonomous detection and response with clarity and speed. By combining real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and a unified data foundation, we reduce noise, simplify complexity, and empower security teams to focus on what truly matters.

Our teams are builders, problem-solvers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of security. If you are excited to solve hard problems alongside talented, mission-driven people, we invite you to help us build a safer future for humanity.

What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for people who are relentlessly curious and committed to continuous learning. AI is reshaping every function across our business, and we enable every team member, regardless of role or level, to build fluency in AI tools and concepts. Those who thrive here actively seek out new solutions, experiment thoughtfully, and apply what they learn to drive better, faster, smarter outcomes.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be tasked to join our on Prem Team. We are building and scaling SentinelOne’s self-hosted (On-Prem) console, and we’re looking for a strong backend senior software engineer to join the On-Prem team.

As our new colleague, you should be excited about building and hardening systems that customers run in their own environments — from air-gapped data centers to private clouds. You should love taking an active role, be comfortable diving into complex, large-scale distributed systems, and enjoy owning the reliability, upgradeability, and operability of software that ships outside of SentinelOne’s own infrastructure.

What will you do?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Own features end-to-end — Join a cross-disciplinary squad of backend and frontend engineers, taking features from whiteboard to production in self-hosted environments.
  • Build for customer-operated environments — Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services that must run reliably in customer-managed infrastructure, including constrained, air-gapped, and on-prem deployments.
  • Shape the platform’s architecture — Lead the design of new modules across the On-Prem console, choosing patterns and technologies for scale, reliability, upgradeability, and performance.
  • Own operability and lifecycle — Contribute to packaging, deployment, patching, and upgrade processes (e.g., OS upgrades, infrastructure components) that keep self-hosted customers secure and current.
  • See your impact — Your work directly improves how customers deploy, operate, and trust SentinelOne in their own environments, making it a visible part of key company initiatives.

What skills & knowledge should you bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 4+ years’ backend-development experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with streaming/messaging systems such as Kafka.
  • Experience building high-performance, microservices-based backend systems.
  • Strong ability to design solutions that meet product requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid and/or remote team and lead projects.
  • Proven experience developing unit and component tests as part of the development process.

Bonus

  • Open-source contributions.
  • Experience working with AI coding agents / agentic development workflows.
  • Experience building software for on-prem, self-hosted, or air-gapped deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with the Kafka ecosystem (Kafka Pub/Sub, Kafka Connect, etc.).

Why SentinelOne?

AI is redefining how the world operates and rewriting the rules of security in real time, and SentinelOne was built for this moment. From day one, we architected an AI-native platform designed to operate at machine speed, not as an add-on to legacy systems but as the foundation itself. If you want to build where innovation and impact move together, this is that place.

We invest in our Sentinels with comprehensive, competitive benefits designed to support you and your family:

Engineer Siena - Fullstack Engineer at Silver.dev

Senior full-stack engineer who owns end-to-end platform features, makes architectural decisions, and ships reliable systems serving production customer volume.
